During 1944, a number of Carroll, Nebraska residents made the decision they wanted a bank for their community. Incorporation was begun and on January 2, 1945 the Farmers State Bank opened for business. Its place of business was the First National Bank building built in 1919. The bank's mission was to provide banking services to the town of Carroll and the surrounding agricultural community. Much has changed since that first day of business, but our commitment to provide quality banking services to our community and the surrounding agricultural area remains strong.
